Five things you don’t know about me

I’ve been tagged by Tony Sharp.

Five things you didn’t know about me:

1) I was a Marxist in my university days.

2) I don’t drive.

3) I speak six languages.

4) I am passionate about the poetry of W.B Yeats, and can recite many of his poems from memory.

5) For a long time, I seriously considered joining the clergy.

I’m in a wonderful mood today, so I won’t tag anyone.

    Quelles langues?

    Let me guess.

    French, Italiano, Spanish, English,
    Portuguese
    Russian and Essex

  2. cityunslicker Says:

six languages. bejesus. One is beyond me.

  3. Bel Says:

    Nearly right, Jeremy.

I wish I could speak Russian, though.

  4. Praguetory Says:

I didn’t know any Marxist in my uni days, but it did seem to popular at one time (without making any insinuations on anyone’s age). In terms of percentages what do you think was the high water mark?

  5. Morag the Mindbender Says:

Oh dear! Morag now has to rethink possibilities for fun evening out with Bel. Somehow wineboxes and dancing around the handbags no longer seems appropriate…………. :(

  6. Bel Says:

What ever gave you the impression that they were appropriate in the first place? :)

  7. Tapestry Says:

    tagalog and welsh?

  8. Andrew Allison Says:

As someone who struggles to keep his French and German going, how on earth do you keep up with six languages? You have my admiration.

  9. Ellee Says:

We are all gobsmacked by your linguistic skills. Are you going to tell us which ones they are?
